Memorial for the Terrorist Victims
September 11, 2001
What happened on that Tuesday is one that we'll remember exactly what we were doing when we heard the news. I know that I was driving to school with my mom when my dad called. He told us that two planes had flown into the World Trade Center. Can you believe that I had originally thought that it was an accident?
I have seen both of these buildings. In late February 1992, I stood from Staten Island and watched the Twin Towers. We have the images on tape. The Towers, I noted as I watched the tape again, were twice the size of its surrounding buildings. Little did I know that in one year, one tower would be bombed. Little did I know that over eight years later, the towers would no longer exist.
This page, ultimately, is in remembrance of the brave Americans who lost their lives that day of the tragic attacks, and is for the courageous survivors who must deal with the aftermath . For my interactive memorial, please e-mail me  your condolences, thoughts, remembrances, or appeals. I promise to post them here for the public. Thank you.
If you want to help the victims in New York City and Washington, D.C., contact your local Red Cross.
